OptiY® Version 4.0 is published (12 January 2010)
We are pleased to announce the release of OptiY 4.0. The new software bases on the powerful .NET Framework® technology. Within, user has got extremely more possibilities to customize the simulation and optimization process and to self-integrate extern programs. The version contains following key news:
- Complex COM-interface is available. So, different experiments can be coupled und exchanged its parameters and results. Loops of experiments are programmable.
- Scripting languages are now Visual Basic or C#. User can access a large number of powerful libraries in .NET Framework.
- Parallelizing of computing using OpenMP® for multi-core computers
- Extern simulation can be distributed on Unix/Linux/Mac-computer in network using SSH remote script and FTP file transfer
- User-Node for self-integration of extern CAD/CAE-systems using a predefined template
- Intern-Script-Node for complex calculation between inputs and outputs
- Parallel-Computing in CST Studio Suite
OptiY® Version 3.2 is published (27 January 2009)
We are proud to announce the release of OptiY 3.2. Within, the dream of product or process designer will be true. The time of blind optimization is over. The entire design space can now be visualized, analyzed and optimized fast. The version 3.2 contains following key news:
- New Gaussian Process/ Kriging for response surface modeling. Within, the entire global design space will be approximated exactly.
- New Adaptive Gaussian Process / Kriging for design of experiment. The design space will be selective tasted with few number of model calculations
- Global variance based sensitivity analysis with interaction chart for Gaussian Process / Kriging
- Fast probabilistic optimization based on the global response surface. It includes robust design optimization and tolerance optimization
- Data-Import via MS Excel for analysis. Data-Mining is now available.
- New Methods: Adaptive Response Surface, Central Composite Design, User Design

CETIM in France chooses OptiY® (2 January 2008)
CETIM is French research and development centre for mechanical engineering. It is placed under the official guardianship of the State. It is administered by a 32 member council, half of whom are mechanical engineering industrialists. A technical committee assists and advises the director on scientific and technical matters. Professional commissions are the preferred bodies for communication and collective collaboration with companies in the profession. 730 people, including 560 engineers and technicians, make up the staff of Cetim. OptiY e.K. announces now an official order from Cetim.
